Here are the top five graduate-level artificial intelligence programs, according to the report:

 Affectiva emotion tracking AI for drivers

Affectiva announced the launch, March 21st 2018, of its Automotive AI service that lets creators of autonomous vehicles and other transportation systems track users’ emotional response.

An MIT Media Lab spinoff, Affectiva launched a voice analysis tool last year for the makers of AI assistants and social robots, but its computing services have been available to marketers and advertisers since 2010.

Affectiva can pick up emotions like joy, surprise, fear, or anger from a person’s face and things like laughter and arousal levels from their voice.

 Amy Webb : For the sake of us all, AI practitioners need a Hippocratic oath

Last week at SXSW, renowned futurist Amy Webb rolled out her 2018 Tech Trends Report, which focused heavily on artificial intelligence.

China plans to become the world leader in AI by 2030, but Webb’s presentation warned that the nation, spurred on by heavy investment and the biggest data-generating population in the world, is poised to become the “unchallenged AI hegemon” this year.

 Buff Jeff Bezos and his robot dog get the tech party started at Amazon’s MARS fest

Amazon’s invitation-only conference on machine learning, automation, robotics and space exploration, also known as MARS, has become an annual tradition marked by billionaire CEO Jeff Bezos’ high-tech high jinks.

Last year, Bezos kicked off the Palm Springs meet-up by taking the controls of a giant robot. Today, he showed up as “Buff Bezos,” accompanied by Boston Dynamics’ four-legged, anxiety-inducing SpotMini robot.
